Job description
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders, diseases, and injuries of the foot and ankle. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clinical setting and possess a deep understanding of podiatric medicine.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet, ankles, and lower extremities
- Diagnose foot-related conditions such as fractures, sprains, infections, and deformities
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, which may include prescribing medications, orthotics, or physical therapy
- Perform surgical procedures on the foot and ankle when necessary
- Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Keep detailed and accurate records of patient consultations, treatments, and progress
Requirements:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited podiatric medical school
- Board certification in Podiatry
- Current state license to practice as a Podiatrist
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy standards and spinal tap procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
