Our client is a specialized healthcare clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive pain management solutions. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for their patients through innovative treatments, compassionate care, and a patient-centered approach.
The Pain Management Physician will provide expert medical care for patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. This role requires fluency in Chinese to effectively communicate with a significant portion of our patient base. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and treating various pain-related conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and utilizing a multimodal approach to pain management.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and diagnose patients with chronic pain conditions using a comprehensive assessment approach.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
- Perform interventional pain management procedures as needed (e.g., nerve blocks, epidural injections).
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families in Chinese to ensure understanding of diagnosis, treatment options, and care plans.
- Provide education on pain management strategies and support resources.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, state regulations, and best practice guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, physical therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive pain management care.
- Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and continuing education sessions.
- Advocate for patients’ needs and ensure they have access to appropriate pain management resources and support.
- Address any cultural or language barriers that may impact patient care and satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the pain management program, including the adoption of new treatments and technologies.
- Participate in community outreach and education efforts to raise awareness of pain management services.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completed residency in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), or a related field.
- Fellowship training in Pain Medicine preferred.
- Experience with interventional pain management techniques is desirable.
- Fluency in spoken and written Chinese is required.
- Board certification in Pain Medicine or related specialty.
Please note- The annual base salary starts at $160k - $220k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
