Job Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions.
Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including medication management, interventional procedures, and alternative therapies.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care.
Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and self-care techniques.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in pain management research and techniques.
Qualifications
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted medical license.
• Board certification in pain management.
• Proven experience as a physician, with completion of a pain management fellowship.
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
• Broad knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Respect for patient confidentiality.
• Compassionate and approachable demeanor towards patients.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Responsible and trustworthy.
