The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at this prestigious medical school in North Carolina, is seeking a board certified/board eligible PM&R physician to join their expanding faculty. The successful candidate will provide care on a CARF-accredited General Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury, and/or Traumatic Brain Injury inpatient unit as well as in an outpatient clinical setting.

The PM&R Department serves the rehabilitation needs of the 1.4 million people in a 29-county region. The Medical Center's 75-bed inpatient unit is one of few rehabilitation facilities in the U.S. accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in eleven or more specialty areas.

Qualifications

*board certified/board eligible PM&R physician
*At least 1 year's experience
To become a PM&R physician, the following requirements must be met:
A four-year medical school degree
Four years of postdoctoral physical medicine and rehabilitation residency
One year of fundamental clinical skills
Three years of training in their specialty
