Job Description: Locum - Otolaryngologist (ENT)

• Clinic/OR Days: Monday - Thursday (facility flexible on days of week), 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM: OR
  • 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Clinic
  • 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM: Weekday Night Call
    On-Call Requirements: Weekday night call, 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical & Surgical Coverage:
  • Mix of clinic and OR days, 50% surgical and 50% office/clinic.
  • Average of 15 patients per day (95% scheduled, 5% add-ons).
  • 2-6 hospital patients (surgeries) per physician per day.
  • Supervise other healthcare providers (including mid-level staff).
• Surgical Procedures:
  • General Otolaryngology (Surgical & Non-surgical)
  • Endoscopic procedures including:
    • Septal surgery
    • Sinus surgery
    • Bronchoscopy (flexible & rigid)
    • Laryngoscopy
    • Tracheotomy
  • Preferred procedures include:
    • Thyroidectomy
    • Extended parotidectomy
    • Radical neck surgery
    • Facial reconstruction and facial surgeries (implants, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty).

Credentialing & Requirements

• Required Credentials:
  • Board Certified in Otolaryngology (NO Board Eligible)
  • Active Colorado State License or Active IMLC
  • ACLS (AHA) Certification
  • Ability to perform all listed procedures and supervise other providers.
  • COVID Vaccination required.
  • Clean malpractice/background check.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
