Otolaryngologist Opportunity in Bettendorf, IA
Join a thriving medical community in Bettendorf, Iowa, where Genesis is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Otolaryngologist. This practice is situated in the Quad Cities, an area experiencing a growing need for ENT services. The facility is designated as Trauma Level 3 and features robust support in the clinic, ambulatory surgery center, and hospital, making it an ideal setting for comprehensive patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages in a collaborative environment.
- Work alongside ENT Professional Services in Davenport to expand community care.
- Share on-call duties with a local private practice of two physicians.
- Participate in inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic duties, and travel to multiple locations as needed.
- Maintain flexibility in clinic hours for enhanced work-life balance.
- Manage a patient base with minimal competition and extensive referral sources.
- Engage with EMR system Cerner for effective patient management.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 3 years) or Board Certified in Otolaryngology.
- Willingness to obtain an Iowa medical license if not currently held.
- ACLS and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history.
- Ability and willingness to travel to different clinic locations.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Iowa State License (or be willing to obtain).
- Board certification or eligibility within 3 years required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications required (or willing to acquire).
