Facility in Williamsport, PA seeking ENT locums coverage

Rates: $300-$350/hr

Position Overview

• Start Date:

• End Date:
  End of March 2025

• Practice Setting:

  • Free-standing clinic

  • Hospital-based surgical and on-call responsibilities

• Schedule:

  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Night Call: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM

  • Weekend Call: 24-hour call (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM)

Key Details

• Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide general ENT care.

  • Handle both clinic consultations and surgical cases.

  • Respond to ER, inpatient, and triage calls.

• Required Skills/Procedures:

  • General ENT procedures: ear tubes, tonsillectomies, sinus infections, dysphagia, etc.

  • Trach care, nasal fractures, and cancer evaluations.

  • Optional skills include thyroid and parotid surgeries or balloon sinuplasty (not mandatory).

• Patient Demographics:

  • Adult: 70%

  • Pediatric: 30%

• EMR Systems:

  • Epic Care

  • Cerner Core Power Chart

  • Surginet

• Call Volume:

  • Varies; typical admissions while on call: 0

  • 24/7 availability required during coverage periods

Requirements

• Board Certification:

  • Board Certified in Otolaryngology – REQUIRED

• Licensure:

  • Pennsylvania License (or ability to obtain)

• Certifications:

  • ACLS and BLS

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years post-training experience.

  • Must function independently without additional ENT specialists available for consultation.
