MercyOne Clive is looking for a Full-time ENT that is interested in Locum to Perm or Perm. (Facility is not accepting Locums only at this time)
Job Description:
- Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes
- Medical Staff Required: Yes

- No. of Physicians: 5
- Nursing Support/Physician Nurse Ratio: 1:1
- Ancillary Staff per Provider: 1:1
- No. of Exam Rooms per Provider: 2-3
- Lab: Yes
- Pharmacy: Yes
- Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 30 or more Patients
- Electronic Medical Record: Allscripts and Cerner
1. Are they seeking Surgical ENT doctors or will a General ENT provider be acceptable? All of our ENT physicians do surgery so they looks at Surgical and General as one in the same. The ENT candidate will need to be able to do Surgery.
2. What are the specific Call hours for this assignment? 1 weekend per month and 4 weekdays per month.
3. What procedures are required? They stated that any procedures that the locums candidate is comfortable with.
4. Can you clarify what the call schedule is like? What are the hours? Will the provider be working weekday and weekend call? The call schedule varies because sometimes there are lots of calls and sometimes there aren't. This is something would be better discussed during a phone interview.
