Provider’s Role with the Company: Otolaryngologist

  • Location: Oak Ridge (Knoxville area), TN
  • Join a team of four full-time, board-certified general otolaryngologists (with plans to replace a retiring senior partner), along with one nurse practitioner and five full-time audiologists.
  • The practice is thriving, with an established referral network ensuring a busy schedule right from the start.
  • Experience or interest in otology, facial plastics, or sleep medicine is a valuable addition.
  • Expected ER call coverage is 1:4 for one hospital, with no facial trauma cases.
  • Referrals include both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Ancillary services provided include an in-office surgery suite, allergy treatments, an in-office CT scanner, a balance center, and hearing aids.
  • The in-house allergy department is robust, offering both SCIT (Subcutaneous Immunotherapy) and SLIT (Sublingual Immunotherapy).
  • PA and NP support staff
  • Assess, maintain, and improve the health status of individuals in the communities served through timely access to evidence-based acute, preventive, and chronic disease care.
  • Serves as a role model of professionalism to all members of the interdisciplinary health care team. Collaborates with all other practitioners and clinical support staff to form a high performing team.
  • Provides high-value care; demonstrates good stewardship of resources by limiting unnecessary testing and referrals; and considers risks, benefits, and patient preferences when making diagnostic or therapeutic intervention decisions.
  • Documents all patient care activities and services provided in the electronic health record. Documentation must be clear, concise, accurate, updated, and in sufficient detail to allow another provider to continue the patient’s care as well as to allow other parties to review the safety and quality of care provided.
