VeloSource has an Otolaryngology/ENT Opportunity in Williamsport, PA.

• Free-Standing Clinic
• Trauma Level Designation: Level II
• PA state license required (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
• Must be Board Certified
• Minimum # Years Experience: 5
• DEA Required
• Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS
• Coverage Need: 24/7 on-call as well as seeing patients in the office Monday through Friday and/or conducting surgeries, support APP's in the office with any questions that may arise during the course of the day or consult on patients.
• Requirement Notes: need a physician with enough experience to function independently as there are not any other ENT physicians to consult with. Need someone capable of doing at least general ENT cases but will need to oversee nosebleed patients, packing removals, trach care for patients as well as nasal fractures and abscesses that present to the office or hospital
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 21
• Types of Calls: 30min Response
• Notes re: Call: On call 24/7 while here. Calls come to the office during the day Monday-Friday and to provider cell phone after hours or on weekends. Must stay within about a 30 minute distance to the hospital.
• Providers Typical Day: see patients in the clinic between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Would provide general ENT care as well as see patients that require surgical intervention. These cases would be scheduled between Monday and Friday within the ENT block time. On call response would be 24/7 while they are here and can include in person consult as well as e-consults.
• Typical Cases Seen: General ENT- cerumen, tubes, tonsils, hearing loss, tinnitus, nosebleeds. Dysphagia, sinus infections and ear infections. Also get patients presenting with thyroid nodules, trach care, nasal fractures, oral or vocal cord lesions, cancers, etc.
• Adult Percentage: 70.00
• Peds Percentage: 30.00
• Procedures: can do biopsies in the office, in office tubes for adults. Tongue ties for infants in office or OR for older kids. Have had providers do balloon sinuplasty in office. ETD balloon dilation in the OR.
• Travel Covered: Mileage (Personal Vehicle); Airfare; Lodging; Rental Car & Fuel
