Job Duties

Geisinger Community Medical Center, located in Scranton, PA, is seeking an Otolaryngologist interested in General Otolaryngology, Rhinology, or Otology to join our comprehensive and growing team.

  • Great mix of clinical, OR, and administrative time weekly
  • Practice in newly constructed building with 17 exam rooms and 4 audiology booths
  • Conduct surgery at a state-of-the-art surgery center right on the campus
  • Residents and APs take first call, allowing for work-life balance
  • Receive both clinical and academic titles upon start
  • Teach residents and medical students as well as participate in scholarly activities

Position Details

GEISINGER COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER (GCMC), Scranton, PA, is an acute care hospital licensed for 297 beds and houses the only Level II Trauma Center in Lackawanna County and Scranton’s only neurosurgery program and adult in-patient behavioral health unit. It is also home to comprehensive cardiovascular and orthopaedic services, as well as a broad range of other surgical and radiological services. The campus is affiliated with Geisinger-Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, Pa., a 180-bed long term care facility.
