    • 24 Hour ED Call Coverage: 7a - 7a
  • Clinical Information:
    • EMR: Cerner
    • Providers must assist with OMF Trauma call
    • System in place for OMF trauma cases
    • OMF residents on call 24/7 and these residents are always first call for any cases that present in the ED
    • Always an oral surgeon and plastic surgeon on call for their specialty in the event that these providers need a consult for a case they do not feel comfortable with
    • The ideal schedule for OMF trauma is for oral surgery to be on call every other day with ENT and plastics covering the days in between, so the hope would be that the majority of the patients could be stabilized until the oral surgeons came on shift for trauma call the next AM
      • This would be best case scenario for ENT to hand off to oral surgery, so they could assist in follow-up care and already be familiar with the patient
    • Practice setting: Hospital
    • Patient Ages: Adult & Pediatric
    • Inpatient
    • Support staff available
  • Required:
    • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
    • Current Flu Vaccine
    • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
      • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
    • Active NC License and DEA
    • Board Certified
