Job Description:
We are seeking experienced ENT Physicians to provide locum tenens coverage. The position involves 24-hour ED call coverage with a focus on both adult and pediatric patients. The role requires assisting with Oral Maxillofacial (OMF) Trauma calls, supported by a team of OMF residents, oral surgeons, and plastic surgeons.
Job Requirements:
- Licensing: Must hold an active North Carolina Medical License and NC DEA
- Board Certification: Board Certified
- Experience: In-patient hospital experience required.
- Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7 AM - 7 AM)
- EMR System: Cerner
Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for ENT, including assisting with Oral Maxillofacial (OMF) Trauma.
- Collaborate with on-call OMF residents, oral surgeons, and plastic surgeons to manage trauma cases.
- ENT physicians may need to stabilize patients until oral surgeons take over trauma call the following morning.
