Location: Champaign, Illinois. Champaign lies about 135 miles southwest of Chicago, and it adjoins Urbana (east) as it shares the main campus of the University of Illinois. For a town of its size, Champaign offers a wide range of activities and attractions to suit the needs of visitors with all types of interests.
Facility: Outpatient clinic/surgery center and medical center. A 453 bed facility and Level I Trauma Center
Opportunity: Locums Otolaryngologist Needed for Ongoing Coverage in Illinois
* Start Date/Duration: As soon as credentialed; Ongoing
* Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm. No weekends
* Paid travel and lodging
* Required Procedures: Elective surgical volume of mostly tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies and ear tubes. "Bread and Butter" during call. No facial trauma
* All patient populations
* EMR: Epic
* Excellent support staff including: APPs, RNs and MAs in office. Full audiology support services. Patient Advisory RNs overnight for calls
* Average Patient Census: 20-25 per day in clinic
* IL license and BC (or "truly" BE). Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid travel and lodging available
