Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Dental Hygienist to join the team at Caswell Correctional Center in Yanceyville, NC, on a locum tenens basis. The position offers up to 20 hours per week, with shifts Monday through Thursday. The Dental Hygienist will provide services under the clinical supervision of the Correctional Dental Director/Designee. Responsibilities include preparing the clinic and operatory for dental treatment, documenting care and procedures, performing prophylaxis and polishing of teeth, taking diagnostic-quality radiographs, and providing oral hygiene instructions to offender patients. The position also involves disinfecting and sterilizing equipment, maintaining professional communication with staff, and submitting monthly reports and timesheets.

• Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in North Carolina
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Ability to cooperate and interact positively with staff
