Position: Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 months with an option to extend
Shift Details: On-call coverage from 4:30 P.M. – 7:30 A.M.
Schedule: Friday - Monday

Work Details:

• Support Staff: Surgical team including RN, MA, PA, etc.
• Patients per Day: Low; average pending confirmation
• EMR System: Epic

Procedures Include:

• Carotid Surgery
• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting
• Proctor for Atrial Fibrillation Surgery, MAZE COX IV Surgery
• Peripheral Vascular Operations
• Peripheral Angiography and Angioplasty
• Research and Development of Robotic and Transcatheter Platforms for Valve Pathology
• Complex Valve Repair/Pathology
• Mitral Valve Repair
• Aortic Valve and Complex Aortic Root Operations
• Minimally Invasive Aortic Valve Replacement
• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement
• Adult Congenital Cardiac Repair
• Minimally Invasive Atrial Fibrillation Surgery
• Hybrid Coronary Artery Revascularization and Atrial Fibrillation Surgery
• Vascular and Endovascular Surgery
• Thoracic Oncologic Procedures

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based
• Provider must stay in a nearby hotel to ensure availability for on-call duties

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required
• License: WI
• DEA: Required
• Minimum Experience: 2 years preferred
