Medical Director will be responsible for providing medical direction, overseeing participant care, and ensuring clinical outcomes. This role requires a Doctorate degree, board certifications, and experience working with the elderly population. You will lead a collaborative team, develop medical policies, and contribute to the overall success of the program.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

● Provide general medical direction and supervision of participant care
● Oversee Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program
● Develop and maintain medical policies and procedures
● Supervise Primary Care Providers and APPs
● Provide leadership and guidance to program colleagues and providers
● Conduct history and physical assessments
● Interview and evaluate applicants to PACE Organization
● Educate participants and families regarding health maintenance
● Supervise health care and treatment program
● Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests
● Participate in provider on-call rotation

Qualifications

Required:
Doctorate degree
1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
Geriatric Care
Senior Care
Geriatric/LTC
ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
Board Certified
Medical Doctor (MD) in Delaware (DE)
Valid Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certification/license
Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification/license
Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification/license

Working Hours

Standard work schedule with occasional regional travel
