Job Description
The Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is a new 54-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility distinctively designed to provide high quality post-acute care for patients requiring medical and rehabilitative services.
Patients who sustained a stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple orthopedic injuries, amputation or a variety of other complex neurological conditions typically require specialized intensive and interdisciplinary rehabilitative care administered in an inpatient setting. Patients will have rehabilitation physician visits, coordinated therapy and nursing teams, ongoing dietary intervention, care management services and neuropsychology consultation as needed. The facility will have exclusively private rooms, dedicated therapy space including low stimulation environments for patients with brain injury, bariatric access, and expansive outdoor space for additional therapeutic activity.
Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). CARF recognizes our four specialty programs as meeting the highest standards in quality, safety and outcome measures, which provide risk-reduction and accountability in our patient care.

The inpatient rehabilitation team includes:

- Pediatric specialists from Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children (for our adolescent patients)

Job Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Candidates should have completed a residency in PM&R and be Board Eligible or Certified. Fellowship in spinal cord injury medicine is preferred. Clinical research experience is desirable but not required.
