Muskegon, Michigan, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Job Clinical Role: Group of traditional osteopathic physicians specializing in neuro-musculoskeletal and osteopathic medicine Foundation in primary care, knowledgeable in all aspects of primary care Integrated approach to healthcare considering body, mind, and spirit Partnering with patients to achieve a fully integrated and holistic approach to health Specific training in musculoskeletal disorders, using hands-on therapies as the primary form of treatment Utilizing both alternative and conventional healthcare modalities Supporting health and wellness for various conditions Recognizes the body's ability to maintain and restore health Provides gentle hands-on treatment to remove restrictions and improve function of the nervous, vascular, and lymphatic systems Restores health, healing, and optimizes physiologic function Views the body as an integrated unit with multiple interrelated structures Pain Management: Abdominal pain and digestive issues Acute and chronic neck & back pain Arm and shoulder pain Fibromyalgia and chronic muscle pain Hip, knee, ankle, and foot pain Non-cardiac chest pain Pain of unclear etiology Pain related to pregnancy Other Conditions Treated: Arthritic spine and joint conditions Asthma and chronic respiratory issues Headaches Numbness and tingling in arms & legs Pre-surgery, post-surgery, and cases where surgery is not an option Post-concussion syndrome Post-trauma evaluations and treatment Scoliosis and leg length inequality Sports-related injuries Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and other jaw & facial pains Neuroscience Center Services: Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine General Neurology Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Neurosurgery Practice Features: Outpatient clinic, inpatient services, and dedicated time working with ONMM residents Approximately 0.7 FTE clinical and 0.3 FTE precepting residents No call, weekends, or holidays Lab, radiology, physical therapy, and pharmacy all in the same building Accepting new graduates If candidate is TRULY Board Eligible, must become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming eligible Not accepting candidates who have lapsed Board Certification and need to obtain again Not accepting Locums candidates Open to H1B candidates.
