Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) – Specializing in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT)


Healthcare United is expanding its Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) services and is actively seeking a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role offers the opportunity to bring OMT expertise across our three clinics, helping patients achieve their wellness goals through cutting-edge, holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical exams, to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using OMT techniques to relieve pain, enhance mobility, and improve overall function.
  • Provide patient education on lifestyle modifications, preventive measures, and therapeutic exercises to optimize outcomes and prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team, including MDs, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain meticulous medical records, documenting patient progress and treatment results in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in OMT techniques and osteopathic medicine through ongoing professional development and continuing education.
  • Lead and support patients throughout their treatment journey, working towards improved health and quality of life.


Requirements

  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a one-year fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT).
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive bedside manner and the ability to establish trust with patients and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • A self-motivated, adaptable professional with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
