Position: Chiropractor (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Prima Medicine is a well-established internal medicine practice located in Merrifield/Fairfax, VA, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our diverse patient population. We are expanding our services and are looking for a skilled Chiropractor to join our multidisciplinary team. Our practice focuses on holistic, patient-centered care, and we are committed to improving our patients' quality of life through comprehensive healthcare solutions.

Practice Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • We offer flexible scheduling options and are open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient chiropractic care and education, building positive doctor-patient relationships.
  • Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
  • Evaluate patients neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine-related conditions.
  • Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations of the body to correct the musculoskeletal system as necessary.
  • Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a recommended course of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough case histories of patients.
  • Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications:

  • A 4-year bachelors degree from an accredited college.
  • A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
  • Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE). A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV.
  • Valid chiropractic license in the state of Virginia.
