A successful Regional Medical Center is seeking to employ another orthopedic surgeon in Northern Kentucky. Located on the banks of the Ohio River, the hospital is part of the 72 Hospital Health system. This is an excellent opportunity to assume a captive patient panel. The new surgeon will join a well-established practice and work alongside another high-quality orthopedic surgeon in a regional market. The position has tremendous upside growth potential from two hospitals with an approximate 90,000 population catch basin. A very supportive PCP referral base is also in place to welcome you. There is a satellite clinic in the community of our sister hospital only seventeen miles away. Enjoy working in brand new OR suites with state of the art equipment with privileges at both hospitals. The skilled surgeon will need to provide orthopedic services that include but not limited to arthroscopies, carpal tunnel, knee and hip replacement, fracture repair, ACL reconstruction, meniscectomy, etc. The market has 1.5 employed orthopedic surgeons and 1 full-time PA, 2 full-time RNs, 1 x-ray tech, 1 fulltime MA, and 3 registration clerks in the practice. This is a safe, family-friendly community with public schools in the top quartile of the state and private schools available. It boasts a picturesque downtown set on the banks of the Ohio River with bustling shopping business corridors. The largest park is a 57-acre space with an Olympic size swimming pool, 3 golf courses (country club + 2 public courses), three tennis courts, two softball fields, five picnic shelters, several playgrounds, a one-mile walking trail, and a 12-acre fishing lake. Boating, fishing, hunting options, one hour from both Lexington, KY, and Cincinnati, OH.
