Locums Orthopedic Surgery Need in Oklahoma

Coverage Needed

• ASAP - ongoing
• Schedule: Call only, 1-2 weekends per month

Clinical Details

• Practice setting: outpatient
• Average 10 orthopedic patients for the inpatient side of the hospital
• Support staff: 2 local integrated orthopedic surgeons and 1 non-integrated physician
• EMR: Epic
• Admissions required
• Trauma level 3
• Call type: Beeper, ED call
  • do not have to stay in the facility the entire 24hrs of call
  • callback can range as little as zero to 2-4 hours
• Call response time required: 15 minutes and be in the building (when needed) within 30 minutes
• Procedures: bread and butter would be total hips/knees and simple fractures

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active OK License or IMLC
• PALS
• Must be able to do total hips/knees
