Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for an Orthopedic Physician – Locum tenens in support of Indian Health Services in Wewoka, OK. The Wewoka Indian Health Center is a Joint Commission accredited federal facility in Oklahoma. The mission of the Wewoka Indian Health Center is to deliver quality care in order to attain positive health outcomes for all our valued patients with emphasis on cultural sensitivity and human dignity.
Outpatient clinic, 8am - 5pm, Mon - Fri. 20-25 patients per day.
Seeking 1099, locums physician. $180/hour, including med-mal coverage. No travel/housing included in rate. Will accept 3- to 6-month commitment, with ability to extend. Requires initial 2-3 day orientation, local Wewoka IHS credentialling, and federal security clearance. EMR is RPMS. Non-surgical position.

Job Responsibilities
A. Joint injections (knee, shoulder, hand, etc.)
B. Fluid aspiration of joints
C. Casting
D. General examinations, diagnosis, and treatment plans with recommendations for all
patients seen.
E. An 8-hour clinic on a weekly basis or at least four times a month.
F. Full utilization of the RPMS Electronic Health Record (EHR) and notification
systems to communicate with the nursing and medical providers at the Wewoka
Service Unit. The notification system is set up to provide a continuity of care for
the patients.
G. Appropriate documentation of services, education and treatment of patients in the
Electronic Health Record (EHR).
H. Provide consultative reports at the time of examinations in the EHR.
I. Responsible for actions necessary for Joint Commission standard compliance and
administrative policies as directed.
Qualifications
Must have current State of Oklahoma license as Physician
Must have five (5) years experience as an Orthopedic Physician
Any state license acceptable (in federal facility)
Current vaccinations (flu, COVID, MMR, PPD, Hep B)
Must be U.S. Citizen
Working Hours
