We are seeking an Orthopaedic Surgery physician to provide both inpatient and outpatient coverage. This is a locum tenens request with immediate availability needed for ongoing coverage.

Specialty: Orthopaedic Surgery
Location: West Virginia
Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Coverage Duration: ASAP - Ongoing
Key Details
  • Scope of Practice:
    • General orthopedics, including total joints, fractures, carpal tunnels, and arthroscopies
    • Clinic and call schedule
  • Shift Details:
    • Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
    • On-call coverage during clinic hours only
    • Open to alternate work weeks (e.g., 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off or split coverage)
  • Support:
    • No current mid-level support
    • Clinic staff available
    • One part-time orthopaedic provider in the community (4-6 days per month) for backup and follow-up care
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): MediTech
  • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30-45 days
Required Qualifications
  • Board Certification: Must be board-eligible
  • Licenses: Active West Virginia license required
