• Schedule
- 24-hour call coverage
- 6 days/month
- 2-24 hour shifts, with call back hours + a 3rd, 8-hour day to cleanup from the 2 on call shifts
• Clinical Details
- Hospital coverage with ambulatory follow-up as needed
- In house while performing surgery and rounding. Generally 8 hours per day. Unrestricted call for time thereafter
- Average number of surgical cases per day at the hospital: 3-4
- Trauma Level/Designation: Level I
- Annual ER Volume: 112,000

- General Orthopedics (treatment of fractures, dislocations, amputations, deformities, and tumors of bones and joints): Surgical, Non-Surgical
• Requirements
- Board Certified (Orthopedics)
- Residency must be accredited by ABMS
- Trauma Fellowship - Highly Preferred
- Trauma fellowship not required if demonstrated case competency for all fracture care, though fellowship completion highly preferred
- Active MI License
- Clean malpractice and background
- COVID Vaccine

- Practice Types/Settings Required: Orthopedic Surgical Cases Trauma, Orthopedic Surgical Cases Adult, Orthopedic Surgical Cases Pediatric, Orthopedic Surgical Cases Geriatric, Hospital, Office/Clinic
- Additional Procedures Required or Preferred: All trauma presentations to include pelvis, acetabular, and supracondylar humerus fractures. Pelvis and acetabular are required procedures
