Movement Disorders Physician is a specialized medical professional who diagnoses, treats, and manages patients with movement disorders, which are conditions affecting the control of voluntary movements. These disorders may include Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, Huntington's disease, tics, and other conditions that disrupt motor control. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that optimize patient mobility and quality of life.

Job Responsibilities

Treatment model focuses on the use of pharmacology, surgical and non-surgical methods.
If surgery is required, our neurosurgical specialists are highly experienced in surgical insertion and programming of deep brain stimulation.
1 in 10 in-patient weekend call for general neurology (non-stroke) with other times covered by Neuro-hospitalist.
Out-patient practice can accommodate some general neurology.
We have a strong neurology residency program.
