Orthopedic Surgery opening in Missouri Located in West Plains, MO Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join group.

  • Position is open due to increased volume.
  • Call is 1:3, call pay available if exceeding contractual call requirements
  • Currently there are 2 full-time orthopedic surgeons and 1 full-time orthopedic/spine surgeon employed by the hospital
  • Supports one hospital and one clinic
  • Clinic is Monday Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m.
  • X-ray onsite in clinic
  • Physicians have their own nurse plus additional float nurses
  • 5 OR rooms with dedicated block time
  • MAKO robot assisted partial knee, total knee, total hip
  • MD/DO Anesthesia coverage with CRNA support
  • Strong primary care referral base
  • Hospitalist team support
  • 12 bed ICU with critical care specialist
  • 24/7 Hospitalist coverage
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Annual ER visits: 28,000 30,000
