Orthopedic Surgery opening in Missouri
Located in West Plains, MO
Full-Time & Permanent
Seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join group.
- Position is open due to increased volume.
- Call is 1:3, call pay available if exceeding contractual call requirements
- Currently there are 2 full-time orthopedic surgeons and 1 full-time orthopedic/spine surgeon employed by the hospital
- Supports one hospital and one clinic
- Clinic is Monday Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m.
- X-ray onsite in clinic
- Physicians have their own nurse plus additional float nurses
- 5 OR rooms with dedicated block time
- MAKO robot assisted partial knee, total knee, total hip
- MD/DO Anesthesia coverage with CRNA support
- Strong primary care referral base
- Hospitalist team support
- 12 bed ICU with critical care specialist
- 24/7 Hospitalist coverage
- Interventional Radiology
- Annual ER visits: 28,000 30,000
- Teaching opportunities are available

- Cortisone and Gel Injections
- Total Joint: Shoulder, Knee, and Hip
- Arthroscopic Knee and Shoulder
