General Orthopedic Surgeon

Central Louisiana

Practice Setting:


  • Schedule (M-F): 2 ½ days in clinic, 2 days in Orthopedic Surgery per week
  • Practice Support: Joining 1 very experienced Orthopedic Surgeon, 2 NP's
  • Surgeries: As many as 6 per day (based on experience), 15-30 per week
  • Average Surgeries: 300-400 annually per provider
  • Opportunity for growth: 50% outmigration for Orthopedic Surgery and patient referrals are 2-6 weeks out

Compensation & Benefits:


  • Compensation: $690,000-$700,000 base salary
  • RVU Production: Begins after 12 months
  • Orthopedic Surgery Incentive: Provided for Sports Medicine
  • Signing Bonus: $50,000 at signing
  • Student Loan Forgiveness: Benefit from $90,000 in student loan forgiveness over 3 years in organizational repayment
  • PSLF Eligibile: This is a Not-For-Profit Organization
  • Relocation Assistance: $10,000-$15,000, dependent on need
  • Annual CME Allowance: $5,000 + 5 days off to support your ongoing professional development
  • Board Certification/Recertification and Membership Dues: Costs are reimbursed for board certification/recertification, DEA registration, and annual membership dues for professional societies, ensuring you can maintain your credentials and stay connected with the broader medical community
