Job Responsibilities

*Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions, including fractures, joint disorders, and soft tissue injuries.
*Perform orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, arthroscopies, and reconstructive procedures.
*Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pre- and post-operative care.
*Collaborate with other specialists, physical therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
*Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostic tools to assess patient conditions.
*Educate patients and families on treatment options, surgical procedures, and rehabilitation plans.
*Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
*Participate in on-call rotation, providing emergency orthopedic care as needed.
*Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

*Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
*Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
*Valid and unrestricted state medical license.
*Proven experience in orthopedic surgery, including joint replacements, fracture care, and sports injuries.
*Strong clinical skills, with proficiency in minimally invasive surgical techniques.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
*Commitment to patient safety and delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Working Hours

Clinic work hours 8-5
Surgery - as determined by volume and need.
On-Call - Work with ED providers to accomodate as needed.
