We are currently seeking a skilled and board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team in San Angelo, TX. This position is specifically for Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and offers a flexible scheduling arrangement. Cases will be referred to you based on your availability, allowing you to choose the assignments that align with your schedule and decline those that do not.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Medical Records: Thoroughly review and analyze patient medical documents related to orthopedic conditions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each case.
- Conduct Physical Exams: Perform in-person evaluations and examinations of patients with orthopedic issues to assess their condition and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Address Clinical Questions: Effectively respond to clinical queries from insurance carriers regarding orthopedic matters, offering expert insights and recommendations.
- Prepare Reports: Deliver detailed IME reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days, providing a comprehensive overview of the patient's condition, examination findings, and professional opinions.
