Job Details:

• Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery
• Start Date: April 2024
• Contract Length: TBD
• Shift Details: 8 days on, 6 days off model. 24/7 Rounding and Call during the 8 days on duty.
• Schedule:
  • April 9 - April 16. Ending 7am April 17
  • May 7 - May 14. Ending 7am May 15
  • May 21 - May 28. Ending 7am May 29

Work Details:

• Support Staff: You will be supported by a Physician Assistant who will round with you. Currently, the program operates with 2 doctors, one of whom is departing.
• Patients Per Day: Hospital volume is 110 ED visits/day.
• EMR: Meditech
• Skills Required: Experience in managing falls, MVAs, recreational fractures, etc.

• Location: Hospital

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required
• License: TX license required IN HAND
• Experience: Minimum one year of experience required. No new grads, please.

Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP
