Location: Just minutes from Oregon beaches! About 2 hours to Eugene, OR and a little over 3 hours to Salem, OR! Located on the banks of the Pacific Ocean, it is the largest city on the Oregon Coast. It is a great place to live, work, and play!

Facility: A regional healthcare facility offering a range of medical services including emergency care, surgical procedures, diagnostic imaging, and inpatient care.

Opportunity:
  • Orders or performs diagnostic studies such as, but not limited to, EMG, electrocardiogram, compartment pressure measurements, and x-ray examinations including special x­ray examinations CT, MRI, and bone scans etc.
  • Performs procedures such as, but not limited to, digital blocks, regional anesthesia, and minor outpatient surgical procedures such as but not limited to: tendon repair, wound closure, wound management, wound debridement, incision and drainage, needle biopsy, percutaneous pinning of fractures, k-wire removal and hardware removal.
  • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including, but not limited to, joint and bursa aspirations, closed reduction of fractures and dislocations, injections of joints, tendons, trigger points and bursa, as well as brace, cast and splint applications.
  • Assists in surgery to include but not limited to, first assist, deep and superficial tissue closures, application of appliances and any other action delegated by the surgeon. Conducts hospital rounds, writes orders, and otherwise assists the Orthopedic surgeon.
  • Evaluates and clarifies clinical conditions, formulates and implements a treatment or therapeutic plan for hospitalized patients, dictates discharge summaries, histories and physicals.
  • Skills and abilities: Proficiency with the electronic health records for documentation, assessment, and care management, performing these activities concurrently with provision of care throughout the shift and ability to work independently and perform effectively in stressful and/or emergent situations
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
