**Orthopedic Surgeon opportunity in Sioux City, IA** **Practice Details** - Rewarding mix between outpatient, inpatient, and surgery - Average of 16 patients per day - Shared call 1:3, 10 days per month - General Orthopedic surgery with opportunity to build in sub-specialty interests - Full range of clinical services include fracture management, total hips & knees, upper & lower extremities, trigger finger & carpal tunnel release - In office procedures include injections, casting, suture removal, fluid withdraw from joint - Evaluate, interpret and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care - Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment - Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills **About Position** - Full-time opportunity - Efficient, well-supported clinic located on ambulatory campus which also has a Multi-specialty ASC located on campus with buy-in opportunity - Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM - Call coverage with work/life balance - 184 bed Hospital, Level 3 trauma center with established Hospitalist Team - 18 bed open ICU with Intensivists rotations - Support from a full range of dedicated specialists and subspecialists - Excellent OR access with experienced staff - Onsite Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation, full-scale diagnostic laboratory, and imaging services including MRI and CT - Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences - Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community - Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination **Qualifications:** - MD or DO - BC/BE Orthopedic Surgery - Hold a current and unrestricted license or certification - Eligible to work in the United States - Ability to work as a team member - Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate
