Job Description

A Grande Ronde, Oregon client is searching for an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon. This provider will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. This includes performing surgeries, providing non-surgical treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care for patients of all ages. Call schedule is 1:3.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Oregon
  • Completed residency and fellowship training in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Proven experience in performing a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
  • Perform surgical procedures to correct or alleviate orthopedic issues, including but not limited to joint replacement, fracture repair, and arthroscopic surgery.
  • Provide non-surgical treatments, such as casting, splinting, and injections, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, radiologists, and anesthesiologists, to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery through continuous education, training, and participation in conferences and workshops.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
