Job Description

We have outstanding, flexible opportunities for Texas-licensed Orthopedic Physicians to join our virtual care team! We are seeking clinicians with excellent "web-side" presence and passion for delivering exceptional care to our elderly patients.

About Us: In keeping with our mission to provide seniors equal access to medical specialists, our virtual care team is comprised of doctors and practitioners of various expertise who conduct telehealth visits to seniors at home, in facilities, or living in independent communities. Our telehealth visits promote continuity of care, leading to better health outcomes and fewer hospital readmissions.

We look to our providers to 1) serve as a knowledge resource, 2) review assessments and care plans, 3) provide guidance to other clinicians and/or practitioners as part of our collaborative team, and 4) provide patient consultation via Telemedicine.

Self-directed Availability: Must be able to commit to 10 hours (or more) per week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, which are our hours of service. Shifts are 2 hours or more and can be scheduled around your availability.

Qualifications and Other Requirements:

  • Great "web-side" presence and ability to build rapport and confidence
  • Medical Degree (MD/DO)
  • Board Certification in one or more of the following specialties: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics etc.
  • Active unrestricted Texas Physician license in good standing
  • Current DEA Licensure
  • Minimum of 3 years of hospitalist experience and experience in Orthopedics
  • Embrace new software and technology; technology protocol and EMR training provided if needed
