A large healthcare system is searching for a compassionate BE/BC orthopedic surgeon to join our team of 3 orthopedic surgeons. You’ll experience a team-oriented work environment with experienced colleagues. Exciting things are happening and now is a great time to become a part of our team. We have recently held the grand opening of our new 20,000 square foot Women's Center that houses modern labor and delivery rooms, gynecological surgery facilities and educational spaces and our new 100,000 square foot medical office building, attached to the hospital, that includes flexible clinics, procedure suites, centralized imaging facilities, an updated pharmacy, a new food service area and a Starbucks.

Orthopedic Surgeon Position
- Position is open due to increased volume.
- Call is 1:3, call pay available if exceeding contractual call requirements
- Currently there are 2 full-time orthopedic surgeons and 1 full-time orthopedic/spine surgeon employed by the hospital
- Supports one hospital and one clinic
- Clinic is Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- X-ray onsite in clinic
- Physicians have their own nurse plus additional float nurses
- 5 OR rooms with dedicated block time
- MAKO robot assisted partial knee, total knee, total hip
- MD/DO Anesthesia coverage with CRNA support
- Strong primary care referral base
- Hospitalist team support
- 12 bed ICU with critical care specialist
- 24/7 Hospitalist coverage
- Interventional Radiology
- Annual ER visits: 28,000 – 30,000
- Teaching opportunities are available
Orthopedic Surgeon Current procedures:
- ACL
- Hands
- Carpal Tunnel
- Trigger Release
- Fractures
- Meniscus Tears
- Cortisone and Gel Injections
- Total Joint: Shoulder, Knee, and Hip
- Arthroscopic Knee and Shoulder
- MAKO Hip and Knee (total and partial)
We are interested in growing our orthopedic service line and willing to incorporate new procedures.
We accept J1 and H1B applicants. We are also located in the Delta Regional Authority which has no limit on J1 waivers and there is no waiver application deadline.
Orthopedic Surgeon Benefits and Features:
- Competitive salary based on MGMA standards with the ability to earn wRVU production bonus
- $25,000 sign on bonus
