Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Opportunity in Great Falls, Montana
Position Details:
Opportunity for a full-time orthopedic trauma surgeon to join our current orthopedic trauma team (1 MD, 2 APPs) offering full spectrum orthopedic trauma services at one location
Stable, long term orthopedic group includes trauma, total joint revisionists, spine, shoulder, sports med, hand and generalists, + mid-level support if desired
10 main ORs + onsite ASC, 2 Davinci robots with O-arm and Hana table
33 bed emergency department with 3 large trauma bays, CT scan staffed 24/7 and 2 board-certified ER physicians on shift at all hours
In house air ambulance program with fixed wing and rotor wing for inbound and outbound transport
Dedicated ICU intensivists 24/7 in 21 bed mixed-ICU
Robust hospitalist team, including swing and night shift admitters
General Schedule:
2-week repetitive rotation
- Week one inpatient trauma duties
- 5-day work week M-F
- 24-hour orthopedic call M/W
- Day call (7a-4p) Tu/Th/F
- Rounding, consults, and dedicated trauma block time every day starting at 12 pm
- Experienced ortho trauma PA is on call with you during call weeks
- Week two clinic week / elective surgeries
- 4-day work week
- No call, flexible schedule
- Dedicated OR block time
Weekend call obligation is shared with all general orthopedic surgeons, 4:00 pm Friday 7:00 am Monday, 1:7 weekends
