Job Summary

Novant Health Orthopedics seeks an Orthopedic Trauma surgeon for the Charlotte, NC area. New physician will join a growing, well-established, multi-site group. Surgical services (inpatient and outpatient) will be primarily performed at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center, Ballantyne Medical Center, and Mint Hill Medical Center. Some coverage at Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital, Presbyterian Medical Center will be encouraged. The new satellite practice location is on the campus of Novant Health Matthews Medical Center. The ability to network and establish relationships with ED teams is a plus. Practice locations have convenient access to full spectrum Novant Health Imaging services. Novant Health is supported by a system-wide EPIC EMR and quality staff.
  • Requirements: Must be BC/BE, Orthopedic Trauma fellowship training; will consider a new graduate.
  • This position is FT
  • 7 call days per month

Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Current MD license in appropriate state
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Current DEA license required
