Schedule: Traditional clinic work week, M-F; no less than 34 hours of scheduled patient contact time.

Call: Practice and event call shared with other eligible members.

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 650+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a Fellowship trained Sports Medicine physician to work full-time at its new Caldwell Medical Office Building. This physician will develop a robust sports practice of all ages. High School Team physician coverage and potential club sport coverage are components of this position. These organizations and athletes are supported by employed athletic trainers who are connected to the team physician and orthopedic clinic. The practice is co-located with the orthopedic clinic in Caldwell and part of an expanding dedicated Sports team. This position would additionally oversee APP’s and ATC’s and work in the Orthopedic Urgent Care onsite. The clinics utilize Epic® for Electronic Medical Record and Computerized Order Entry, experience with EMR is highly advantageous.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program, or an Emergency Department residency program. A Sports Medicine Fellowship, or Sports Medicine program.
  • Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) or equivalent (or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment).
  • Obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA

Support: 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level II Trauma Center; ED; Saint Alphonsus FM, UC, specialty clinics and ancillary services on-site; community primary and specialty care clinics.
