Shriners Children's Portland seeks a full-time Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon.

Site Description:
- 29-bed inpatient facility on OHSU campus, minutes from downtown Portland
- Tertiary referral center for pediatric orthopedic patients in the Pacific Northwest
- Recognized by U.S. News & World Report and Press Ganey for excellence
- Specialties: Orthopedics, pediatric surgery, spine and spinal cord, sports medicine, rehabilitation, therapy
- Team of 10 pediatric orthopedic surgeons, 6 pediatric anesthesiologists, and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
- Onsite orthotics, prosthetics, motion analysis lab, clinical research, telehealth
- EMR: Epic (Clinic), Cerner (OR)
- Advanced diagnostic imaging: O-arm, EOS, neurosurgical microscope
- Partnerships with OHSU and Providence-St. Vincent Medical Center
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday (1-2 days OR, 3-4 days clinic/admin duties)
- 1 in 10 call for a community hospital
Responsibilities:
- Pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative care
- Attend weekly outpatient clinics, examine patients, supervise clinic staff
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified in orthopedic surgery
- Fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery
- Eligible for OR, WA, ID, and AK medical licenses (for Telehealth)
- DEA license eligible
- PALS certified
- Experience with osteogenesis imperfecta and cerebral palsy preferred
