The Permanente Medical Group is seeking a Total Joint fellowship trained Orthopedic surgeon to join our team in Vacaville, CA.

Our multi-specialty orthopaedic group is actively seeking a fellowship-trained total joint arthroplasty surgeon. Our group consists of a cohesive, collaborative team of 5 total joint surgeons, 3 sports surgeons, 3 hand surgeons, 1 trauma surgeon, 4 non-operative sports medicine physicians and 16 Physician Assistants, including 2 Total Joint Coordinators, who help interface with patients pre- and post-operatively. Anticipated surgical mix is primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty cases with access to Zimmer/Biomet ROSA and Depuy Velys robots for total knee arthroplasty. Hana tables are available for direct anterior total hip arthroplasty cases. Mentoring opportunities are also available within the group. Current hospital total joint volume is ~2200 total joints annually. Call will be 1:12 covering two community hospitals with bread-and-butter basic trauma cases (hip fractures, ankle fractures, distal radius fractures). Most hand trauma is performed by our hand surgeons, and more complex trauma by our traumatologist. Our two hospitals are in the East Bay of San Francisco, with easy close access to multiple regional parks and approximately 45-minute drive to San Francisco, 30-minute drive to Palo Alto, and a 3.5-hour drive to Lake Tahoe. BART station is a 10-minute walk from one of the hospitals.

Full-time annual salary range is $554,040 to $575,040 plus additional potential incentives up to $70,830*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
