The Great Lakes VA is looking to hire a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our professional team in North Chicago, Illinois to provide world-class care to our veteran community.

Job Responsibilities

Board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to provide comprehensive oral maxillofacial surgery examination, consultation, treatment planning, history and physical examination, and hospital admission. Core privileges including but not limited to management of cervical-facial infections, comprehensive management of oral manifestations of chronic systemic disease, repair of traumatic wounds, dentoalveolar surgery; extraction of soft and hard tissue impaction, intentional tooth replantation or transplantation, root-end resection, ridge augmentation, osseo-integrated implants and oral antral nasal fistula repair, soft tissue grafts, guided tissue regeneration, moderate and deep sedation, excision of benign and malignant tumors and cysts of the hard and soft, harvest of hard and soft tissue grafts.

Board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Completion of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) Residency

Working Hours

Work Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday and 24h call rotation
