Job Description

An outstanding progressive health care network and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a BE/BC Ophthalmologist to join a busy ophthalmology department based in the lovely village of Cooperstown, NY.

The facility is an integrated health care system that provides care and services to people living in an eight county region in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

Pertinent Highlights Include:

• Opportunities exist for both research and teaching if interested.

• Currently there are specialists in retina, cornea, pediatrics and glaucoma. Sub-specialty interest in glaucoma, oculoplastics, cornea and cataract surgery would be welcome.
