Optometrist needed in Lincoln, ME.

Salary and Benefits

  • The pay for this position is Negotiable – Based on years of experience
  • Fiscal year bonus based on productivity

Responsibilities

  • 4 Day Work Week | 100% Outpatient
  • 14 – 16 Patients of All Ages Per Day
  • Appropriate clinical documentation through their Athena EMR
  • Perform vision tests, analyze results and develop a treatment plan.
  • Examine eyes using observation, instruments and pharmaceutical agents, to determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or color blindness.
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
  • Prescribe therapeutic procedures to correct or conserve vision.
  • Provide pre and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgery, for example, examining a patient’s eyes the day after surgery.
  • Work closed with primary care providers in the provision of team delivery of healthcare.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and quality health records.
  • Participate in all quality measures as required.

Requirements

  • New Graduates Welcome
  • Clear and Active Medical Doctor License in the State of Maine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Optometry
  • Active DEA
