Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmologic care to patients of all ages.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of ocular diseases, conditions, and injuries.
Perform surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, and other ophthalmic interventions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers within LECOM Health.
Educate and mentor medical students and residents in clinical and surgical ophthalmology.
Participate in research initiatives and community outreach programs.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
Eligible for or currently hold a valid Pennsylvania medical license.
Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Strong surgical skills with a passion for advancing ophthalmologic treatments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Working Hours

Full-time position with a flexible schedule.
Monday – Friday, with minimal call requirements.
Dedicated time off for CME activities and professional development.
