Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive Neuro-Ophthalmological evaluations for conditions affecting the visual pathways and eye movement control.
  • Diagnose and treat visual problems related to the nervous system, including unexplained or sudden vision loss.
  • Perform Neuro-Ophthalmologic testing, including:
    • Visual acuity and visual field testing
    • Pupillary reactivity assessments
    • Color perception evaluation
    • Ocular alignment testing
    • Optical coherence tomography (OCT)
  • Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and ongoing care plans.
  • Collaborate within a strong interdisciplinary team that includes:
    • RN, MA, Neuro-Ophthalmology Technicians, MSW, Patient Support Coordinator, PT, OT, and Vestibular Rehab.
  • As part of a national Multiple Sclerosis Society Partner in MS Care, contribute to high-quality care for MS patients.
  • Conduct General Neurology visits as needed while building the Neuro-Ophthalmology practice.
