The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium in Anchorage, Alaska seeks an Ophthalmologist – Retina Specialist to join our team at the Alaska Native Medical Center. As a Level II Trauma Center, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for the Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. Our unique patient population, cohesive team and incredible geography, make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
In this role you will provide outpatient management and inpatient consults with exposure to advanced disease and challenging pathologies, including advanced cataracts and Uveitis. Complementing the practice, physicians manage patients at rural outreach clinics throughout the state.
Qualifications: Board Certified in Ophthalmology and fellowship trained in surgical retina; flexible team player with excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8-hour
