Ophthalmologist needed in Cooperstown, NY Located in the foothills of the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains 70 miles to Albany & 90 miles to Syracuse NY Service area of 600,000 people Full time, permanent opening Seeking a General and/or Cataract Surgeon to join a busy ophthalmology department based in the lovely village of Cooperstown. - 6 Ophthalmologists and 6 Optometrists - Current need is for high volume cataract surgeon-general ophthalmologist - Opportunities exist for both research and teaching if interested. - Currently there are specialists in retina, cornea, pediatrics and glaucoma. Sub-specialty interest in glaucoma, cornea or Oculoplastics would be welcome. - The support staff is well trained and experienced in both the clinic and operating room. - On call is every 6th weekend and rarely busy - Salary Range: $400,000 $476,675 This compensation range represents Healthcares good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement.
